The Dooney and Bourke Company Offer Trade-Ins On Your Old Handbag

A few years ago, I did this trade-in deal with the Dooney and Bourke handbag folks. I wanted to do it again but wasn’t sure if they still had this program available. I emailed them and got a reply back and this is what they said:

Hello,

I own several Dooney and Bourke handbags. I’ve participated in the trade-back handbag program you have a few times. I’m interested in doing it again and wanted to see if this program is still available. Can you offer any insight on this? Thanks in advance for your help.

Bridget Wright

Dear Bridget,

Dooney & Bourke does offer a trade in program. We will offer you half the current retail price on the item that you send in to apply towards a new item of equal or greater value.

Please ship your item back to us via ups or insured mail along with your name, address, daytime phone number and the reason for the return. Once we receive it within 7-10 days you will receive a card in the mail with your options on it. Give us a call and place your new order with us. Please note that some new collections may be excluded from the program.

Ship to:

Dooney & Bourke
Attn: Returns
1 Regent St
Norwalk, CT 06855

Sincerely,

Customer Service Department

So, there you have it. The Dooney and Bourke handbags are available for trade-back so…trade away!

Now, my next quest is to find out just what do they do with those old D & B’s. Anyone have a clue?

Do you know if this involves luggage too? I bought a tartan roll aboard that I have never used for various reasons and would like something else to replace it.

    Hi Mireille,

I’m not sure if that includes luggage too, but I sure will find out and let you know. Thanks for your comments and your question!

I have a DB Signature Pocket Satchel w/wristlet in excellent (like new condition) since I have not used it very much. I am inquiring about the market value of this bag so I can possibly use it as a trade-in on another bag. I am interested in the Annalisa leather bag in chamois or camel as well as the Leather whip stitch bag in brown. I understand that I must send my bag in to get an actual exchange price but I’d like a guess-timate of it’s market value before I send it in. I hope to hear from you soon.
