I’ve been wondering this because in most every photo I see of late, I see them all hugged up. Now I know actors/actresses do this for publicity’s sake, but aren’t they a little too close for comfort? Or, maybe that rumor is true. hmmm….
Oh yeah, and her bag is cute too isn’t it?

Didn’t think I’d like this new loop pouch thingie, only because I don’t care for wristlets. But, this little number is too cute. Looks so easy and carefree for quick jaunts or just looking cute.
Made with lambskin leather and a bit pricey at $995, but cute nonetheless. Available at Nordstrom’s.

Do you have a photo of yourself posed with your bag? Are you hotter than your bag, or is it hot all by itself? Send us a picture of your HOT bag and we’ll post it here at Banging Bags. Be sure to include a caption to let us know where you are in your photo. Let’s just see how HOT your bag really is.

Eve doesn’t even look rapper-ish in this photo. This is a very, very nice picture of her in evening attire and with her After-5 bag. This proves that rappers are not always in the business because they’re “hard” or “thugged-out.” Some of them DO actually have taste and class, and Eve certainly proves it. Go, Eve!

The folks over at Purse Blog are having a neat contest.
View the details and give it a go. I’ve never won anything, much less a designer purse. Unless you count the time I won a cake at the cakewalk community church fair. I was on cloud 9 that day.
Good Luck!

Well ladies, after seeing Lauren Conrad with this bag and that outfit, I was convinced that there are some things you simply DO NOT do with a nice bag. Here they are:
1. Never wear a big bag with flat shoes. Makes the outfit look dum-py. Agree?
2. Don’t wear the same tone/color outfit as your bag. Washes it out.
3. Some bags are meant to be worn on the shoulder. Others are meant to be worn on the arm fold. Can you guess which way Lauren should have worn this number? Hmmm…
What are some things you do not do with your handbags? Do share.

Have you ever been somewhere and thought, “I shouldn’t brought my purse in here. Whey didn’t I leave it in the car?” Well, there are some places where you should never take your handbag.
To the gym. Why do you need it there? There’s no place to keep it. (The locker room? Yeah, right!). And, if you do take it there, who’s going to appreciate looking at it?
To the baseball - soccer - football fields. I’ve tried it. Got lots of looks, but more stains and **close** moments than I care to relive. Nothing like nacho cheese stains on brushed leather. ugh!
To the nail salon. Now wait before you say “what?” Think about it: in the nail salon are lots of bowls of stuff. When you put your purse down, it’s too close to powder, acrylic resin, salves, lotions, etc. And, after you’re finished being serviced, it’s awkward to pick up your purse while your nails are still wet. So, bring your money and keys in. Oh, and your cell phone. That’s it.
It’s better to be safe than have a stained or soiled purse. I have a Dooney and Bourke purse that has suede leather on it. I STILL have the stains on it from that day at the soccer field. Now, I was cute with it on my arm, but I’m stuck with the memory of the soccer game forever - -on my suede!
Where else do you never take YOUR purse?

I must admit; Paris has some snazzy bags and this one is no exception. I can’t tell who it’s by, but just glancing at it makes me think it’s a Marc Jacobs bag. He does make some snazzy ones!

Who ever said big bags don’t look good on girls with pink hair? Who said it? Well, Lily Allen is here to prove them wrong. What other way is there to shop except with a big bag?
Big bags are all the rage, unless of course they weigh a ton. In which case, big bags need to have some kind of insurance rider. By the way, how BIG is your bag?

Buy such incredibly expensive bags, that is? The New York columnist, Deborah Solomon, asks New Yorkers just why is it that they drop hundreds, even thousands of dollars on such material possessions?
Video
Why do you?
