Fake Handbags: It’s Just Not Worth It
No matter what anyone says, a designer fake-off is not worth your money. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, smells like a duck, it could be a chicken.
Whatever.

Fake designer knock-offs are not worth it, why? Because they may look original, but they tear up quicker, are not nearly as sturdy and often vary in color, stitching and even size. And besides, they ARE knock-offs. ‘Nuff said.
This news story shows me exactly why I am against the whole knock-off idea. The street-retailer who thinks he’s getting away with something by making a fast buck will find himself giving that buck (and more bucks) back all for the honor of saying he’s selling knock-off Coach’s, Dolce & Gabanna’s and Brahmin bags.
It’s just not worth it.

Instead of an obvious knock-off, why not just go with a lesser known but interesting designer? If you can’t afford the higher end designer bags, then admire them from a far (or find them on sale, or at a yard sale). There are so many wonderful designers that are so reasonable! As you said, imitations are just not worth it.
