3 Things to Consider When Buying a New Handbag
You know I love handbags, right? A lot. A whole lot. Anyway, buying a new handbag can be a fun experience. It can also be a costly experience if you end up not getting what you want, or worse, a designer knock-off wannabee. To help keep you from making those costly mistakes, here are 3 things to consider when buying a new handbag:
1. The Price. What is your bag budget? How much is too much and are you willing to part with that right now? When I purchased my first designer handbag over 21 years ago, $100 was wow to me. Now, $100 might get you a designer key fob!
2. The Style. What does the bag do for your image? Style is important when selecting a handbag because the wrong style or look can be detrimental. When selecting a bag look, stand in front of a mirror and try on the bag, looking at it from all body angles.
3. Fashion Value. It’s it a timeless or a classic bag? Will you be able to wear it in 5, 10 years? When choosing a bag, don’t always get too consumed in the current fashion going on. Make sure that the bag will give you a huge ROI and not flop in 2 weeks. There are some bags that are strictly for fashion-flaunting, but these are NOT the ones that you want to spend your cash on.
The last thing to remember when you make your handbag purchase is to have fun with it. These are just some guidelines that will help navigate you through the process on your way to fashion-ista heaven!
